A warm Hello from the TBT team. Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time out to get to know us a little better. We love Bangkok and want to show you as much of it as possible. Together we can create a memorable holiday experience with pictures you will look back on and smile, and amazing stories to go back and tell your friends and family about.
The concept for TBT came about very organically, after a family member shared their interest in wanting to visit Thailand with their children. This was a great idea, but to really get the full dose of Thailand that you are looking for it's best to have a Thai Buddy with you. Not a tour guide, but someone who has local knowledge, who can speak both Thai and English, and can be your first point of contact throughout your time in Thailand. This will allow you to really get out there and explore Thailand with the confidence of knowing you have someone you can contact at all times.

About our Buddies
Our Buddies come from a diverse range of backgrounds, e.g. Hospitality, Customer Service, Tour Guides and Travel. One thing they all share in common is a passion for Thailand and the desire to show holiday makers how amazing their city is.
Some people may wonder what's the difference between a tour guide and a Buddy? In short, a tour guide is just that, a guide which shows you around pre-designed tours which are focused on showing holiday makers the tourist hot spots. The time you have with a tour guide is limited and when the tour is finished, you may feel a bit lost in the big city.

A Buddy on the other hand is more like Your First Friend in Thailand. Their job is to be your first point of contact and to help you when you need support throughout your stay in Thailand. With a vast amount of local knowledge, your Buddy can help with anything from activity ideas, translating and showing you around the real Bangkok, not just the tourist attractions.
