Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get in touch with Thai Buddy Travel?
Do not hesitate to send us a message if you have any questions. Use the contact form at the bottom of the page and a member of our team will promptly reply.
Who are the Buddies and what are their backgrounds?
Our Buddies come from a diverse range of backgrounds, e.g. Hospitality, Customer Service, Tour Guides and Travel. One thing they all share in common is a passion for Thailand and the desire to show holiday makers how amazing Thailand is.
Do I need to book in advance?
Buddies are limited and subject to availability so we would suggest you book in advance to avoid dissapointment.
Can I contact my Buddy 24 hours a day?
Buddies will be available throughout the day and will contact you during the day to update you on their availability. If your assigned Buddy is unavailable, we have a special Buddy phone line which will be available 24 hours a day should you have any emergencies or need support.
What is the difference between a Tour Guide and a Buddy?
In short, a tour guide is just that, a guide which shows you around pre-designed tours which are focused on showing holiday makers the tourist hot spots. The time you have with a tour guide is limited and when the tour is finished, you may feel a bit lost in the big city.

A Buddy on the other hand is more like Your First Friend in Thailand. Their job is to be your first point of contact and to help you when you need support throughout your stay in Thailand. With a vast amount of local knowledge, your Buddy can help with anything from activity ideas, translating and showing you around the real Bangkok, not just the tourist attractions.

Do you cover Phuket and Chiang Mai?
Currently we cover Bangkok only, but will be expanding to cover Phuket and Chiang Mai in the near future.
